These geometric symbols are visual instruments that can help to bring our vibrations into harmony with the rhythms of nature. The same refined, regenerative technology that nature has evolved can be used in ways to help organise our own thought patterns.
These forms are examples of polyhedra, literally 'many seats' and, as the earliest surviving description of them as a group is in Plato's Timaeus, they are often called the Platonic Solids. There is evidence that these forms were actually used before Plato's time with many neolithic carved stone spheres found in Scotland.
These are the only five regular polyhedra, that is, the only five solids made from the same equilateral, equiangular polygons. To the Greeks, these solids symbolized fire, earth, air, spirit (or ether) and water respectively. The cube and octahedron are duals, meaning that one can be created by connecting the midpoints of the faces of the other. The icosahedron and dodecahedron are also duals of each other, and three mutually perpendicular, mutually bisecting golden rectangles can be drawn connecting their vertices and midpoints, respectively. The tetrahedron is a dual to itself.
You can use the crystal forms for meditation or as an arrangement in a sacred space.
Each boxed set comprises a Tetrahedron associated with the Fire element; Hexahedron, Earth; Octahedron, Air; Icosohedron, water and Dodecahedron the universe.
The wooden box measures 175mm long x 35mm wide x 40mm high.
